RUBBER CURE SALTS - LOW TEMPERATURE
Rubber curing salts are eutectic mixtures of nitrates and nitrites formulated for the curing of rubber (vulcanization) and thermal treatment of plastics. All of these salts exhibit properties similar to quench and temper salts. The prime benefit of these salts is their heat capacity, which effects a cure rate far better than that of air. Other advantage of these salts is that they are water soluble and as result are easily washed from the parts.
